How do I submit my work to SJU’s Institutional Repository?

New users may submit work for addition to the IR by contacting the library through the form on the tab labeled Contact.  SJU Libraries will provide credentials for you to upload to the IR through a mediated workflow.  Note that submission of student work will require the approval of a course instructor or faculty member serving as mentor to the work.

Do I need to give permission to have my content on SJU’s Institutional Repository?

It is encouraged that those placing content in the IR sign a permission release form, to be kept on file with library staff. This form is located with the collection development and submission guidelines document page [need to create/upload blank form for generic work].

Who owns the content in SJU’s Institutional Repository?

Neither Saint Joseph’s University nor the SJU Libraries make any claim to copyright or the intellectual property associated with the works included within SJU’s Institutional Repository. All authors submitting works to the repository will retain their copyright unless transferred to another publisher according to their signed author or licensing agreements. Content placed within our IR is designated solely for educational, non-commercial, or promotional purposes.

Questions can be submitted through the form on the tab labeled Contact.
